When in 1999 ex-Diary of Dreams guitarist Tim and singer Stephan met first, it was like magical gravity. Tim had had a gig that day when the two got to know each other during the after show party. When they met again on a party soon was clear that the musical chemistry between them was perfect. Tim was fascinated by Stephan’s voice, which fits exactly to the type of music, Tim wanted to experiment with. The logo of Denight is built out of a sygil. This sygil stands for ›Saturn‹, which simultaneously stands for the Greek god ›Chronos‹ which means time. The bandlogo stands for endurance, but also for birth and decay, which is mirrored within the lyrics of Denight. Tim Stephan two developed some of the primal versions of some of the songs, which were published on the debut "Above and Beyond". Soon other musicians got interested in the Project and Denight grew up to a live Band.
